Singing a New Song
December 30, January 6, 13
Christmas is a time of celebration that Christ is born into the world and God becomes real for us. We sing praises to God for the humility of coming to Earth not to demonstrate divine power, but to demonstrate what it is to be truly human. Jesus lives as a human, submits to baptism, and is worshipped by shepherds and wisemen alike. We lift up our voices in celebration of the coming of the Lord.

The season of Advent is a time of preparation. We open our hearts to the coming of God with Us. The decorations and festive celebrations are but shadows of the glory revealed in the birth of Jesus. Explore the nativity story and experience again the anticipation of the birth of Jesus, Christ the Redeemer.

Following the Leader

October 21, 28, November 4, 11, 18, 25
Jesus sets the example of servant leadership, but even his disciples asked him to do whatever they asked without thinking of what they should be doing for him. As we approach the end of the Christian year, we examine different ways to serve God and how God plays a role in our lives today.

Life in Christ
September 9, 16, 23, 30, October 7
Following Christ represents total commitment. We see God at work. We hear God's words. We feel God's creation. Our senses are engaged in experiencing Christ, God present with us. Because we experience Christ in our lives, we are moved to share that experience with others. What we are filled with is what comes out, so let us be filled by the Holy Spirit so only God may come out of us.

Bread of Life
August 12, 19, 26, September 2
Jesus tells his followers that he is the bread of life. Christians celebrate Holy Communion in different ways and for different reasons, but this meal that sometimes divides us also brings us together. Christ is truly present in the meal and we recognize God's grace as we partake of the elements. God forgives us and heals us of our past, fills us and motivates us to love like Jesus in the present, and shapes our future as we walk with Christ in the coming days. Receive the bread of life and be satisfied as we explore the rite of Holy Communion across Christendom.

By Faith
July 22, 29, August 5, 8
People came to Jesus to be healed, to be taught, and to be forgiven because they had faith in God, who they understood to have sent him. We are recipients of the legacy of Jesus' teaching and healing. We benefit from years of study. But do we show the same faith of the early followers of Jesus?

Triple-Header
May 27, June 3, 10
The Divine Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are the one true God, revealed to us in three persons. As we enter into the period after Easter, it is important for us to reunite Christ with the Holy Spirit and God, to remind ourselves of the Holy One.

Jesus offers parables about himself and about the Kingdom of Heaven. Christians are instructed to be changed into the likeness of Christ by getting rid of our sinfulness and reflecting the reign of God in our lives. The season of Lent is a time of preparation again. We set aside old, bad habits, to take on new habits. We give up things that are unwholesome for us to take time to worship God, study God's word, or pray. We are transformed to be more Christ-like in this season.
